Home Visits

The most comprehensive care is available at the surgery but in the event of being too unwell to attend, the doctor may visit you at home. Please telephone to request a home visit a the earliest opportunity, preferably before 10.00am. The doctor will discuss the problem with you before deciding whether a home visit is necessary.

In an emergency (such as crushing, central chest pain or sudden, severe shortness of breath etc) it is safer and quicker to dial 999 for an ambulance.

Please remember that the doctor can see at least four patients in surgery in the time it takes to do one house call.
